Akita Maiko Dance Appreciation Event with Bento Lunch & One Drink

About this activity

Enjoy an elegant Akita Maiko dance performance paired with a delicious bento lunch at the historic Akita Cultural and Industrial Facility “Matsushita.” Set in a beautifully restored former kappo restaurant from the Taisho era, the venue offers a warm atmosphere where you can immerse yourself in Akita’s traditional culture. Maiko and geisha visit each table to greet guests, creating a friendly and welcoming experience even for first-time visitors. Akita Maiko preserves the heritage of “Kawabata Geigi,” and this plan lets you experience it up close while enjoying a special bento made with local ingredients. With comfortable chair seating, it’s an ideal way to relax and appreciate the history, beauty, and charm of Akita.
