About this activity
This sumo stable is a sacred sumo stable where the great Yokozuna Kitanoumi actually coached as an oyakata.
At this sumo stable, a guide will explain the history and rules of sumo in English while you enjoy chanko nabe.
After watching a powerful sumo match up close, 7 people per time slot can experience sumo training.
Even those who did not participate in the experience can go up to the dohyo at the end and take a commemorative photo with a sumo wrestler.
This activity is enjoyable for both adults and children who know nothing about sumo.
Please note that if there are few people who wish to experience sumo, it may end earlier than the scheduled time.
Chanko nabe will be served at the 11:00-13:00 and 19:00-21:00 sessions. Please note that it will not be served at the 15:00-16:30 session. Vegetarians, please inform the staff on the day.
