About this activity
As you step into the Huajiang Grand Canyon, you are immediately greeted by the majestic presence of cliffs stretching for miles. The peaks on both sides are like they've been cut by knives and axes, with steep and precipitous cliffs adorned with grotesque rocks and crisscrossing patterns, resembling a geological epic written by billions of years of time. Walking on the hiking trail built along the cliff face, you'll find a winding path under your feet and an abyss beside you. You can see eagles soaring in the sky above, and you can hear the rushing waters of Huajiang flowing eastward below. The mountain breeze carries the fragrance of vegetation, instantly blowing away all worries. Along the way, you can also encounter natural karst caves hidden in the cliffs. Inside, stalactites take on various shapes and forms, and under the illumination of lights, they appear as fairies scattering flowers or fierce beasts crouching, creating a magical and magnificent scene that leaves you in awe. Moreover, the relics of ancient post roads stand silently, and the mottled stone slabs seem to still bear the hoofprints of the past caravans, telling the vicissitudes of time. Come to Huajiang for a boat ride. Take a cruise ship downstream, the turquoise waves rippling, the boat travels like an arrow, and the green mountains on both sides slowly unfold like a picture scroll. Watch the waterfalls cascade from the clouds, the water droplets splash, and the sunlight refracts into a colorful rainbow; look at the beaches on the riverbank, where water birds dance gracefully, and fish and shrimp frolic in the shallows, full of vitality. When you reach the open area of the river, gently sway the oars and drift with the waves. At this moment, with green mountains as neighbors and clear waters as companions, the poetic imagery of "boat traveling on turquoise waves, people traveling in a painting" is concretized.
