The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is located at No. 1375 Panda Avenue, outside North Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. It is 10 kilometers away from the city center and more than 30 kilometers away from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. It is a world-renowned ex-situ conservation base for giant pandas, a scientific research and breeding base, a public education base, and an educational tourism base. The base covers an area of 1500 acres.
