【Gubei Water Town】 is a comprehensive resort located in Miyun District, Beijing, designed to resemble the water towns of northern China. It is adjacent to the Simatai Great Wall and integrates natural scenery, historical culture, and leisure entertainment. Gubei Water Town blends northern residential architecture with the layout of Jiangnan water towns, mainly in the Ming and Qing styles, with crisscrossing rivers and staggered stone bridges. 【Simatai Great Wall】 is one of the most original sections of the Great Wall of China, known for its steepness and stunning beauty, and is hailed as "the best of the Great Wall." Simatai Great Wall has not undergone large-scale restoration, and there are currently 20 watchtowers (10 of which are open). In 2012, it was named by UNESCO as "the first of the 25 landscapes in the world that should not be missed."
