About this activity
Experience authentic Japanese sumo at an elevated outdoor venue with unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji.
Set on an open-air rooftop stage at Lake Yamanaka, former professional wrestlers perform powerful sumo matches with the majestic Mount Fuji right before your eyes.
Witness powerful rituals, exciting matches, and learn about the traditions of Japan’s national sport through live English commentary.
During the show, selected guests can step into the ring and take part in the Sumo Challenge.
Upgrade to VIP tickets to enjoy guaranteed front-row seating, priority participation in the Sumo Challenge, and an exclusive souvenir. Drinks are available for purchase inside the venue. On rainy days, the show moves indoors to our covered 3rd-floor venue — the show always goes on.
